Filter Replacement Matrix

Filter Packs (carbon & sediment filters) should be replaced every 6-12 months or 3,000 gallons, whichever comes first. Easily add a $20 inline pressure gauge to your system to identify line pressure drops & know exactly when to change your pre-filters.

Membranes last 2-5 years. Specifically, we replace membranes when they no longer provide at least a 90% rejection rate. To find a membranes rejection rate, we must perform a TDS test of the water quality before and after the membrane. This may sound daunting; however, we are confident you can master performing a TDS test in a few minutes. The TDS meter is similar to a thermometer - one button push and you get your number on the display. Easily add a $30 dual tds meter to your RODI system to know exactly when to change your membrane & deionization resin. For under the sink drinking water systems, we recommend THIS tds meter (under $20).
